    Tips and notes

    How to use this file

    • Pick your major with the buttons under the search box. Many roles are listed under more than one major.
    • Narrow the list by career stage (internships, early career, graduate degree, experienced) and by location (DFW, other U.S., outside the U.S.), or search for a skill, company or city.
    • Open a posting to see its summary and the full saved PDF. Use Download PDF to keep a copy, or Open live posting to see the current listing.
    • See the skills. The right-hand panel and the Skills by major button show which skills repeat most for your major. Select any skill, including the skill chips inside a posting, to list every posting that asks for it.
    • Keyboard: / jumps to search, j and k move between postings, + and - zoom the PDF, Esc closes full screen.

    What the stage labels mean

Internships & co-opsStudent roles. Most set a GPA, graduation window or class year, so check who can apply.
New grad & early careerRoles for people finishing a bachelor's degree or in their first few years of work.
Graduate degreeRoles that ask for a master's or PhD, or for research experience.
ExperiencedSenior and specialist roles. Useful for seeing where each path can lead.

    Before you apply

    • Postings were saved and checked between October 7 and 11, 2026. Most saved PDFs hold the employer's full posting text, reformatted for print. Some hold a short paraphrased summary, and some list only the course-sheet notes because the full text was not saved. The tag on each card and the note at the top of each PDF say which kind it is.
    • Major tags help you browse. The posting itself decides who is eligible.
    • Check graduation dates, GPA minimums, work authorization and on-site rules in the full posting. Many U.S. medical device internships state they do not sponsor visas, and postings outside the U.S. need local work rights.
    • Pay ranges are shown when the employer listed one. Some are hourly, some yearly and some in euros or pounds, so compare with care.

    About this collection

    • 194 postings from 18 employers (Abbott, Alcon, Amgen, BD, Boston Scientific, Caris Life Sciences, Edwards Lifesciences, GE HealthCare, Intuitive, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, Lexington Medical, Medtronic, Philips, S3 Connected Health, Siemens Healthineers, Stryker, Tri-Imaging Solutions, UT Southwestern Medical Center), gathered by major for ECS 1100 and merged here into one list. A posting that appeared in more than one major’s sheet is listed once with all of its majors.
    • Location groups: DFW area (Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving, Plano, Flower Mound and nearby; 47 postings), other U.S. sites (117) and outside the U.S. (30, mostly Ireland, Germany and the Netherlands). A posting with several sites is in the DFW group when one of its sites is in DFW.
    • Skills were found by matching about 65 skill terms against each posting’s text, after removing company boilerplate. A skill counts once per posting. For postings without saved full text, only the course-sheet skill notes were matched, so their skill lists are shorter.
    • Job IDs (HI-001 to HI-194) are labels for this collection only. Employers use their own requisition numbers, printed in each PDF. Each PDF also lists the course-sheet IDs it came from.
    • Employers are shown with initials instead of logos.
    • The saved PDFs are in the pdfs folder next to this page.
